I'm working on a pokemon game on Gamemaker that is currently unnamed. The game is about how Steven became Champion.
STORY:
The game starts off just after Steven's 12th birthday. After his dad disallowed him getting a pokemon, Steven starts working in his dad's plant shop. One day, prof Miyth asks Steven to deliver a rare pokemon to his good friend Mr Yure. On the way, he gets attacked by a team Triumph grunt who demands the rare pokemon. After defeating the grunt, his dad comes out and remarks on how good he battled. He tells Steven to return to the store after he delivers the pokemon. When Steven returns, his dad offers him one of the three pokemon that work in the store.
Steven returns to prof Miyth and announces that he wants to become pokemon Champion. Prof Miyth suggests that he talk to Elder Rewt on becoming Champion. When Steven reaches Elder Rewt, he tells Steven of the ten trials he must take in order to become Champion. Each trial has it's own stone that he must collect and return to Elder Rewt.
And Steven's adventure begins!
