Standing before the man was an enormous vault. Enormous. At least 10 stories high, it stood like a colossus. Curiously enough he stood several thousand meters below the crust of the earth, enclosed in a massive cavern, and yet there stood a vault. The vault was covered in moss and rust, and exuded an aura of age. It has been hidden, kept secret, and keeping a vast history of secrets itself. The man remembered hearing of the possibilities of a giant vault, but it was only a myth, or more or less an urban legend of his village back in England. Surely whatever was put in here, must have been important. He intended to find out what it was, that's what he does. His curiosity is insatiable. How he even managed to get down here, well; that's another story entirely.
The man stared at the vault, and it stared right back. The mans brown trench coat was covered in dirt from his adventure down to the cavern. "How do I open you?" He announced.
"Voice recognition software initialized. Please standby." A loud electric voice declared.
"What the hell---" the man stepped back.
"Language recognized: English." It said."State your name." The man looked curiously at the vault.
"...Siegfried Allen." The man stated, in complete awe. He wondered what would happen next.
"Identity confirmed." 'How did this monstrous contraption know who I was? And how was it talking?!' He looked around, and there was no one else to be found. 'This couldn't be a prank, no one else has been down here in decades, possibly centuries!' he thought. "Welcome, Mr. Allen. Please proceed." the voice said again. Suddenly the walls groaned and cracked, the earth shook under his feet. The vault was trying to open. 'How is this possible?!' He wondered. 'Electricity surely couldn't be down here, scientists were still doing experiments on the theory!' The groaning continued, and got louder until the vault finally broke free from it's prison. It seemed like the planet itself was breaking apart under the stress of this vault door moving. The groaning continued, and the man was forced to hold his hands over his ears to prevent his ear drums from bursting! Finally the door came to a stop, with a magnificent hiss. Steam filled the cavern making the air humid and wet. 'Steam too?' he thought to himself. 'Whatever was beyond this door, must be a magical place indeed' he thought.

Inside the vault was an enormous tunnel, just as large as the vault was in circumference and much deeper. The steam had followed behind him, as well as being dispensed from several areas inside the tunnel, it made the air murky. Loud humming filled the air; the humming seemed to be the source that was powering the lights atop the tunnel. 'So there was electricity down here, interesting.' The corridor seemed to go on for hundreds of feet.
"Mr. Allen, if you could please direct yourself to Sector B please." He gasped! The voice scared him half the death.
"Where the heck is Sector B?" He asked himself aloud.
"Continue the direction you're going but take a right at the fork." the voice answered. The man almost jumped out of his shoes!
"You keep scaring me!" He said exasperated.
"I apologize sir. Shall I refrain from talking?" it asked.
"So you can talk, and understand what I'm saying? What in God's name are you?!"
"How kind of you to ask Mr. Allen. My name is N.O.R.A."
"Nora? So are you a person?" He asked.
"I'm an entity. I was created, but existed before time. I exist outside time. NORA stands for Nonlinear Offset Relativity Anomaly."
"You're yankin' my chain! How does that work?" He asked.
"To put it in terms you can understand; imagine a child. A fetus at conception. It exists, but has not yet been exposed to reality. That would be the closest way to describe my existence."
"The closest way?"
"Yes, in reality it's not really like that. You wouldn't understand the real explanation of my existence."
"Right... So why am I supposed to go to Sector B? How do you know who I am? What is this place?" His mind was aflutter yet again.
"All will be revealed soon. I am under orders to take you do Sector B."
"What do you mean, all will be revealed soon? Is this a death trap? What if I don't want to go to Sector B?"
"I don't remember you asking so many questions. I can assure you I'm not directing any harm upon you. Sector B, is the place you need to go. Worry not, I'm your friend." The voice responded.
"You're my friend, right---" The man suddenly stopped moving. "You don't remember me asking so many questions...?" The man thought for a moment. "Who is giving you orders?" He asked.
"The man giving me orders is you. Mr. Siegfried Allen."

The young girl stared at the sky. She was laying on the rood of her high school. She loved looking at the clouds rolling past, it was one of the few things that intrigued her; progression. To her the clouds all started somewhere and took a journey to their final resting place, where they would disappear. One of the many things that didn't not interest her was school. For her school was simple, having the IQ of 187 didn't help either. She was probably the only one who could spend most of the day on the roof, and still get good grades. The faculty, and her parents on the other hand, did not like this habit of hers.
"Mayuri!" a voice said from behind her. The girl looked up; there stood her childhood friend Yuu. "You've missed two classes! The principal is looking for you!" The girl looked back at the sky, and sighed. That was another thing she liked about the sky; it didn't get mad at her. "Come on Mayuri!"
"Fine." the girl said. She slowly got up, and looked around the roof. She noticed a man standing on the other end of the roof looking at her, but paid no attention to him. She could have sworn that no one else was up here when she decided to look at the sky. She followed Yuu down the stairs, at the bottom of the stairway stood Principal Itou.
"Attending one class then skipping the rest isn't very wise, Mayuri. We check attendance every period. We know if you're playing hooky or not." The principal announced triumphantly.
"If I had wanted to play hooky, I would have left the campus." the girl retorted. The principal glared at the girl.
"I don't know what to do with you." The principal sighed.
"There is a strange man on the roof." the girl said, seeming to ignore the principal.
"We haven't admitted any visitors today."
"Hm..." the girl said, and started to walk off.
"I'm not done talking with you!" the principal proclaimed.
"Sorry, she's off in her own world now. No one can get it or out of her head now." Yuu said to the principal.
"I see. Well make sure, she makes it to her next class, and tell her to come to my office later."
"I'll try." Yuu said. Yuu ran after the girl.
The principal looked down the hall, and back at stairway. The principal decided there was no strange man on the roof, and headed back to her office.
The strange man was still there.

The man finally arrived at what seemed to be Sector B. From the ground a metal staircase rose up to a large wall with a single door on it. The man proceeded up the staircase, and arrived at the door.

"What do you mean there's no credit? I just got paid!" The big man said.
"That's what it says. Sir, I'm sorry. If you can't pay, I'm going to have to impound your ship until you can pay."
"How in God's name am I supposed to get money if you take my bloody ship?!" the big man said. "I'm an Airship pilot, what am I supposed to do without an Airship?! And how do you expect me to get of this Airstation without a ship?! It's in the middle of the bloody nowhere. I just stopped by for a few quick repairs, and now I can't even leave!"
"I'm sorry sir. It's protocol. I can assure you, nothing will happen to your ship---"
"Don't worry about it." A strange man said in the doorway. "I'll pay for his repairs." The big man looked over at the strange man, perplexed.
"Thank you sir, but I can manage on my own." The big man said, his thick Scottish accent flowing over each word.
"Don't be prideful, I'll happily pay. Always ready to help someone in need. Especially here in the middle of the sky, I doubt you could get a ride from anyone without an ulterior motive. If you catch my drift." The strange man said. The strange man approached the counter.
"I'd really prefer to do it on my own, thanks."
"You can pay me back sometime." The strange man said. The big man was about to speak, when the strange man whispered in his ear.
"Don't worry, I'm changing your future. You'll live long enough to pay me back, and then some." The big man's eyes grew wide. The strange man smiled, and handed his credit disc to the worker. The worker scanned the disc.
"Thank you, Mr. Allen." the worker said, and handed the disc back. The worker grabbed the ignition apparatus from under the counter, but the strange man had disappeared. "Where did he go?" The big man looked up.
"I don't know..." the big man said. 'Who was that guy?' he thought to himself.
"Mr. MacKay, here's your ignition apparatus."
"Huh? Oh yeah." The big man took the apparatus. "Hey, what was that guy's name? I want to thank him properly."
"I'm not supposed to give out personal information like that sir."
"Oh come on! He just paid for the repairs on my ship, and I got to give him a proper thank you!"
"Fine." The worker tapped on the holographic display module. "Looks like his name is Siegfried Allen."
"Siegfried Allen, huh? Thanks for the info."
"My pleasure sir." the worker said, as the big man walked off.
