    Just a quick question to verify i'm not the only one with this problem..

    I've been viewing user profiles where everyone only has like four blocks & some basic information here & there..

    I'm just wondering what happened to the vbulletin default profile & why did pc change to this (remarkbly) total eye killer of a feature.. ?

    On the occassion it's just me... can someone tell me how to fix it? ;P

    I'm going to explain two different things which relate, because I'm not sure what exactly you mean.

    For limited viewing, it depends firstly on profile privacy, where people choose which they block for those either not their friends, not registered members, or those which aren't their contacts. That would be the reason why those areas are blocked on most profiles. That's if you're just talking about limited viewing, if not...

    In general, though, in your options, you'll see this:
    Profile Mode
    Feature under development. If you prefer the 'classic' style of profiles prior to the vB 3.7 upgrade, you may switch back using this option. Please note that visitor messages, profile customizations, listing of albums, listing of friends, listing of emblems, listing of recent visitors, and other features are not available in 'classic' mode.

    Which allows you to switch back to the older vB default profile (which is "Classic", without any user customisations. Though this new type of profile was added during an update in April 2008, thus, wasn't added directly by PC.

    Hopefully that explains it, since your question could relate to either. :)
     
    Yosh! Thanks, I knew I was the only one having this problem since I didn't see anyone else having the same problem.




    ALSO! About having images for backgrounds & the blocks & stuff, is that a supporter privlege or is there another way in gaining this feature? (In our customizing profiles bit)    ​
     
    If you mean by profiles, yes you'll need to donate to have the privilege of using bigger pictures in your profile and images as backgrounds.
