[ASM & Hex] Using showpokepic with other sprite/pal tables

    Hello there,

I've been trying to make an assembly routine that loads a custom image/palette table with showpokepic, but for some reason loading a palette from a different table causes the image to inherit pal ID 0 (the player OW palette). I've tried literally changing the pokemon image/pal offsets to my new table and it still forces pal ID 0. So I'm wondering if perhaps if there are shared colors between the two images it will load the OW pal instead? Or if anyone has tried to do something similar? I am using the dynamic overworlds palette patch.

    Thanks!
