    By far one of my favorite anime series. I've never heard/read a plot like this before, it's just bizarre. xD There's a second season out right now in Japan, can't wait for the next episode! :D

    It's based on a PC Game that has question and answer arcs. So there is a plot besides the overused: "Killer loli" xD -falls over- Um yeah there's Manga, Doujinshi, Drama CDs, and a PS2 game of Higurashi besides the PC games.

    My favorite male character is Keiichi Maebara and favorite female is Rika Furude. ^^

    It's a really awesome series and I was wondering if anyone else in this forum has seen/played it. xD

    OMG.

    I love this anime susu much. Yes, there is tons of blood and gore. The creepiest arc was either the Meakashi arc, or the Watanagashi arc, because they involved the Sonozaki twins. And at the end of the Watanagashi arc, in episode eight, the ending at the hospital was VERY creepy. And the torture scared me D=. Especially the hammer and nails, and the taking off of the nails part D=. But it's one of my favorite animes <3. Rena is pretty kawaii too, expect when, ehhh heh, you know.

    My favorite characters are either Mion, Rena, or Rika, or maybe Satoko. Well, I love all of them <3. Except Shion, because is ish suuuuuu scary. LIEK ESPECIALLY THE MEAKASHI ARC D=. But I especially love Rika and Satoko, they are soo kawaii <3. And I love the games that they play. I've been watching Ni Kai now, and that ones really interesting, but I still don't know who the men in grey are. And this arc is really interesting, since Rika is trying not to let anyone kill her, and how Keiichi changed the turn of events <3.

    YESH. Watanagashi is by far the scariest arc for me too. *shudders* I couldn't watch the taking off nails part so I shielded my eyes from teh site and waited till it was over. xD OMG I know, poor Keiichi like died with a heart attack there. :O

    Men in grey are probably..workers for whoever is causing the madness of endless June? Keiichi was so KOOL in that episode. xD

    Anyways, I CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT wait until crunchy.roll posts Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni 8, because I saw some icons of it on unasuvas @ livejournal. And guess what there was: PSYCHOTIC RIKA <33. omg. dis is liek the first time there was a paranoid ni-pahhhhh~ lawls. "IMMA ANGREE NIPAH!" And Keiichi gets pwned by a chair xD.

    I cannot wait for 8 fansub to come out. I wanna see what happens~ Also I saw avatars of Psycho Rika and I was like "whoa..what the heck...this isn't that perfect world that she went crazy in so why is she psycho?" xD
