After making only OU teams, with the occasional UU / BL Pokemon, I decided to final make a legitimate UU / BL team.

    ==============
    [PokeCommunity.com] UU / BL Experiment...

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    Bold
    252 HP, 184 Def, 74 Sp. Def
    Synchronise

    Mean Look
    Baton Pass
    Wish
    Toxic

My lead. Baton Passes Mean Look and the occasional wish if needed late game, can also set an opponent up with Toxic. Switches to Jolteon for the continued sub.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU / BL Experiment...

    Rapidash@Leftovers
    Jolly
    252 Atk, 72 Spd, 124 Sp. Def, 60 Def
    Flash Fire

    Iron Tail
    Flare Blitz
    Hypnosis
    Megahorn

I love Rapidash. There, I said it... Takes advantage of Fire attacks against Shiftry with Flash Fire. Not many Spd EV's needed due to Baton Passing from Umbreon. Can hide behind the sub from Jolteon and use Flare Blitz, with Leftovers reducing the recoil damage, or hide behind the sub to set up Hypnosis. Pretty sure this hits any pokemon for at least neutral damage. Need help with Iron Tail slot.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU / BL Experiment...

    Shiftry@Life Orb
    Modest
    252 Sp. Atk, 216 Spd, 42 HP
    Chlorophyll

    Nasty Plot
    Leaf Storm
    HP Rock
    Dark Pulse

A new style of Special Sweeper. Nice is that it can learn Nasty Plot, nice is that I can use Ambipom to help activate Chlorophyll, but the best is HP Rock 70!!! Takes care of Fire and Flying types, especially the fire types trying to lol at me in the sun. Either take them out or switch Rapidash in. Either way, like this addition.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU / BL Experiment...

    Jolteon@Leftovers
    Timid
    252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP (???)

    HP Ice
    Baton Pass
    Substitute
    Thunderbolt

Standard Sub-Passing Jolteon. Passes subs to the next in line, or straight to Rapidash. HP Ice and Thunderbolt for type coverage.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU / BL Experiment...

    Spiritomb@Leftovers
    Careful
252 HP, 200 Sp. Def 56 Sp. Atk

    HP Fighting
    Will-o-Wisp
    Pain Split
    Taunt

My style now. I needed a more Sp. Defensive tomb, and this works well. Wow over Hypnosis because rapidash has it, Taunt to stop Phazers etc., while Pain Split is simply recovery. HP Fighting 70 creates havoc on Weavile and Tyranitar, who cannot KO tomb. (Especially with a WoW against them)

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU / BL Experiment...

    Ambipom@Heat Rock
    Jolly
    Technician
    252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Def

    Sunny Day
    Focus Punch
    Fake Out
    Double Hit

I am in wonder at why I haven't used this before. Technician combined first with Fake Out then followed by Double hit is pretty good for UU/BL. Can get subs from Jolteon and set up a Focus Punch, as well as being the user of Sunny Day to power my Shiftry and Rapidash.

Any help is much appreciated, and this is only my first UU/BL team BTW.

Spiritomb and Jolteon are OU X_x Umbreon and Ambipom are close.

Really, this is just an OU team with a few UU pokemon (Shiftry and Rapidash). Everything else is pretty standard.

REAL UU teams have ONLY UU pokemon...and the weird ones with BL still shouldn't have the upper BL (basically OU) pokemon...it kind of ruins the point of making a UU team.

It was mainly BL, and I went by the Smogon Tier list. I thought that Jolt and Spiritomb being BL were a bit awkward also...

Get this, apparently AERODACTYL is BL!!!

They've recently changed their tier list...I figured you used theirs...and it sucks now. lol Claydol is UU and lol Tentacruel is OU lolololololol

Aerodactyl in a lower tier than Tentacruel lololololololol

BTW, they have Spiritomb and Jolteon as OU now, I'd just go with real UU pokemon like Nidoking, Solrock, etc.

EDIT: Apparently Umbreon is OU too lol

and I went by the Smogon Tier list
Now you see why I don't obey them. They make even less sense than Cinnamon Toast Crunch with cheese on it.

As Anti said, real UUs is what REALLY makes a UU Team. Rapidash and Shifry are two UUs, but if you want some force in UU, get some Hitmonlee action. Hell, even Raichu and Vileplume are awesome.

I'd post my list of what I believe is UU, but then I'd have half of the forum think I'm insane, then probably people from Smogon come in and storm the topic like mad dogs.

I take VERY personal offense to that comment Iceman. I'd appreciate if you'd refrain from making statements like that again. :[
Eee, sorry about that. I went and editted it.
I guess I'm taking prickishness to a new level o_O

i understand the issue with aerodactyl. the thing just dies and rarely pulls a kill. i got so bored with it that i eventually gave it flamethrower and taunt ._.

jolteon being BL... it's OU. the thing about BL is that it's the margin that separates stats, usage and movepool. jolteon obviously has the usage and stats down, but its movepool is atrocious. this gen, it gets outspeed by scarf users, hence why they created the BL tier. but above all, the thing IS overused and has a home in OU. i completely agree on that, anti.

spiritomb, however, is definitely BL. it's not OU because, well, it doesn't do much. rapidash does more than it. the marginal difference is that it has no weaknesses, giving it a place in BL rather UU.

sunny day ambipom... ehh so not digging it. rapidash, like aero, just dies, and trying to give it a support that is least likely of occurring is a waste. then you have shiftry who immediately benefits from it, but is DEEPLY hurt by opposing fire attacks. you better hope it gets in a couple nasty plots if you expect it to do any killing.

Not true, Aerodactyl has helped me a lot for late-game, it outruns Weavile, Alakazam, all the other extraordinarily high-speed sweepers.

Iceman, Smogon considers Mamoswine UU haha

I would give Spiritomb Hypnosis, you want the full explanation why, ask me

Simply put, I gave it WoW over Hypnosis because Rapidash had Hypnosis. I decided that since I'll be playing with the Sleep Clause, it may not be as effective. Anyway, this is still in development, so any help is much appreciated thankyou.
