I decided to try to make a team tonight.I've never done this before,so any helpful criticism will be more than welcome.

Let me be the first to say I'm not very aware of any of the UU threats,so please, any suggestions for new mon are more than welcome.

    Be Brutal.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU Team

    Electrode @ Focus Sash
    Static
    Hasty
    252 Atk/4 SpA/252 Spe

    Rain Dance
    Explosion
    Thunder
    Taunt

Lead Electrode designed to get Rain Dance up.Taunt on the start,in case the opponent is using Sub or getting weather up.Rain Dance the next turn, then blow up.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU Team

    Kabutops @ Life Orb
    Swift Swim
    Adamant
    72 HP/252 Atk/184 Spe

    Stone Edge
    Aqua Tail
    Superpower
    Aqua Jet

Stone Edge makes Shaymin think twice before going in.Aqua Tail for powerful STAB.Superpower for Registeel,Poilwrath, quagsire, basically anything that would switch in thinking its a Choice Band Kabutops locked into a move.Aqua Jet lets it finish off some weakened pokemon that would outspeed it with a Scarf.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU Team

    Swellow @ Toxic Orb
    Guts
    Jolly
    252 Atk/4 SpD/252 Spe

    Facade
    Brave Bird
    U-Turn
    Pursuit

Facade for obvious reasons.Brave bird for a strong STAB Attack and ot take out any ghost switches,U-Turn to get out,Pursuit to hit things that will switch out of fear.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU Team

    Dugtrio @ Choice Band
    Arena Trap
    Jolly
    40 HP/252 Atk/216 Spe

    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Night Slash
    Aerial Ace

Basically this is to take out whatever is the biggest threat to my team.Earthquake for STAB,Stone Edge if it resists Earthquake or has Levitate.Night slash over Sucker Punch because they may not attack me. Aerial Ace over Pursuit since most won't be able to switch out.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU Team

    Spiritomb @ Leftovers
    Pressure
    Calm
    252 HP/140 Def/116 SpD

    Shadow Ball
    Will-o-Wisp
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

I figured I needed something to come in and take hits, since my team is definitely weak defensively.

    [PokeCommunity.com] UU Team

    Espeon @ Leftovers
    Synchronize
    Timid
    6 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
    Psychic
    HP Fighting
    Calm Mind
    Signal Beam

Psychic for STAB,HP Fighting for the Dark switch-ins,Calm Mind to help boost its SpA and SpD,signal Beam to hit Darks and other Psychics and the Grass.

    Isn't Dugtrio OU?

Anyway, I personally hate Electrode leads from experience, but if that's how you roll then fine XD Your team doesn't really benefit from the rain and it looks to me like you're going to have a big problem with bulk steel types. Your only counter is Dug who can't take a hit. I think perhaps you sould drop the rain idea and give Electrode HP Fire, then use something else as your lead who could set up Stealth Rock? I'm thinking perhaps a Utility or Support Lead Claydol. Ok try:

    Claydol@Light Clay
    Careful/Bold
    252 HP 80 Def 176 SpD
    Stealth Rock
    Light Screen
    Reflect
    Explosion/Shadow Ball/Psychic

Using this as your lead could really help the rest of your team out. SR is a must, so something like this is advisable. Only use Careful nature if you want to run Explosion.

EDIT: Wait Dugtro isn't OU actually LOL XD

...Yes, I see a considerable problem here with Steel-types, particularly Steelix, which can use either Earthquake + Stone Edge or Earthquake + Gyro Ball to potentially sweep through your team while 5 of your 6 Pokemon cannot really do much to it.

First of all, Rain Dance only helps two of your Pokemon, one of which is somewhat designed as a suicide lead, so you can remove it. In fact, I would actually suggest removing Electrode altogether and selecting a different lead. The Claydol that has been mentioned works to an extent, although that leaves you with a rather significant weakness to basic Rain Dance teams. Instead, I suggest using something like Roserade:

    Roserade @Focus Sash -Natural Cure-
    Timid Nature
    4 HP/252 SP. ATK/252 SPEED

    Sleep Powder
    Toxic Spikes
    Leaf Storm
    Hidden Power (Ground)

Sleep Powder will cripple opposing Pokemon more often than Taunt will while Toxic Spikes helps you with certain bulky opponents as well as stall. In addition, it works well in luring in various Poison-types that will absorb the spikes, at which point you can generally switch to Dugtrio for a quick KO. Alternatively, you can also stay in and hit the incoming switch with either a STAB Leaf Storm before switching out or attack with a Hidden Power for what will likely be a Super-Effective hit. Hidden Power (Ground) is suggested mainly for hitting those Poison-types that are likely to switch in, as well as Steel-types such as Steelix that I already mentioned you have a problem with.

As for Stealth Rock, that can be teched onto Kabutops over either Aqua Tail or Superpower, if lacking it becomes a serious problem. Also, Dark Pulse is much superior as a single attack over Shadow Ball on Spiritomb.
