If it beats you, yes. You can go back and rebattle it. You should always save before battling a legendary Pokemon, it's common sence. :)

i did save it im not an idiot but i cant catch it it had 1 hp and 34 ultra balls 12 great balls 2 dusk balls couldnt catch
it killed it self with struggle
then i tried again and used MASTER BALL thanks
