Figured I'd post this because in case people didn't know and I because I remembered that there was a small interest in the game here. Vanguard got an English release on December 3 with the two starter decks and the first set. Because it was targeted at Singapore, you may not find it in your local card store, but you can find a list of bushiroad distributors here. (You can also visit the site to get updates and previews on Vanguard and other bushiroad games)
For those in America, you may want to go to Hammergirl Anime to get your cards.

Do you know if this is going to be released to any other English speaking countries, like a certain small one at the very southern part of the world? Because I'm really interested in this and I don't want to import trading cards.

I know for sure that they have an official distributor in Austrailia, as well as 12 other shops that stock it. Unfortunately, that's the closest they have to New Zealand.

So I take it this means both the anime and the card game will be / are released here? I'm honestly surprised it got that popular, but now I'm gonna have to check it out. xD

I wouldn't imagine it's a guarantee that the anime will ever make its way over here. It's not specifically targeted as an American release, so that will probably hamper things. Hopefully if it does get a proper North American release people will have learned from the mistakes made in how Battle Spirits was handled.

It probily be like the new the hub duel master series made for usa viewers

Hasbro will produce a new series based on its Duel Masters property for The Hub's 2011-2012 lineup. The new series, working title Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, marks the return of the property to American television, where the Duel Masters anime aired on Cartoon Network for several years in the middle of the last decade (including a period when it was even stripped, see "Duel Masters Goes Daily").

The TV series will tell the story of a 14-year-old boy who discovers a secret world in which mind-blowing creatures with special powers rule. The boy must master the ancient art of Kaijudo to protect the world.

Although Hasbro's Duel Masters TCG has not been sold in the U.S. for several years (and never did that well here) it has continued in Japan, where it is consistently in the top three TCGs (with Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon) in a very competitive market. No word yet from Wizards of the Coast on whether it plans to bring back the game when the new TV series begins to air.

Well that store is no where near me. D:

But I'm excited for this. I was even looking at some of the cards on the wiki and saw Blaster Blade was in English this time, which was a big surprise for me. So I think this is gonna be great and I'm gonna try pick up some cards from that store in Australia through shipping. Bring on the Nova Grapplers!
