    Gah, I hate to post this, cause it makes me feel like such a noob, but I've recently downloaded the VBA, so I could play the advance games, and maybe try out some of the awesome hacks here. I've downloaded Ruby version and Emerald version, but when I try to open them on my VBA, I encounter a problem.

    The ROM won't load. More than that, it'll load 83%, then 99%, then 100%, then drop to 2%, and back up and down. I can't get it to load and go, it keeps going up and down. Is this just because I'm doing something wrong, or is it something wrong with the VBA or ROM I'm using?

    Sorry if this is a bother, but I'm really stuck here. :/
     
    You have to set your ROM to Flash 128K, first go Options > Emulator> Save Type > Flash 128K before loading the ROM. The percentage at the top is not loading time, it is the frame speed also.
