I need some help with vba link... I have watched everywhere how does this work correctly, but I just can't get it work with my friend. (I can get it work with my big brother...) Can I be as far as I want to use wireless link system? I know that another player has to press start and another connect (when ip adress is there) but is there something more to do? My friend lives about 10 kilometers away from me. I am using vba link 1.8 wi-fi/lan edition, so can you help me with my problem (or do you just close my thread because this has been asked too many times... :( )?

The VBA Link has awful support for IP linking, most people that 'claim' to use this feature is a lie, it is extremely difficult to configure this feature to the correct properties for the best performance, this is only my point of view, if there is someone smarter than me here, than you can call me an idiot XD

I've found it to be spot on tbh, never had a problem with it.

To use the wireless link with someone who isn't directly in your house your going to need 'Hamachi' to link up over a virtual network

There are a ton of youtube videos showing you how to connect. Through that you should be ok connecting through IP
