On the Mac version of VBA and VBA-M, the cheat entry system is different from the PC version. First of all, there is no "cheats list." Second, the window that helps you add cheats looks like this:

    [PokeCommunity.com] VBA Mac GameShark Cheats

I have VBA-M for the Mac, and I don't know how to enter codes into those six spaces.

I know that it's just Action Replay codes without spaces, but I need an explanation.

Do I do it like this?

    Say a GameShark code is:
    AAAAAAAABBBBBBBB
    CCCCCCCCDDDDDDDD
    EEEEEEEEFFFFFFFF

Do I enter AAAAAAAABBBBBBBB into one of those spaces, CCCCCCCCDDDDDDDD on the next, and EEEEEEEEFFFFFFFF on the next?
If so, when? When opening the application? After closing the ROM?

And I need to know if I have to do anything to enable the cheats, and if the Master Code will always be on when I enter it.

Do I have to open the Cheats window again to enter another cheat?

Mac_Man from emuforums.com apparently took his video tutorial off of YouTube, so I can't watch it and find out.

If you know the answer, please PM me and I would also like you to upload an informative video tutorial onto YouTube, if you can.

Thanks for asking this question; I'm afraid I can't help you, but I've been wondering the same thing. I tried a couple of cheats once to see if I could get them to work, and wasn't able to. (It's kept me honest, at least. :P)

actually, i have the same problem. do you get that annoying error "Incorrect format! The correct format is: XXXXXXXYYYYYYY?" even if you delete the spaces
