So I normally play on a PC, but I was using the MAC version of Visual Boy Advance on my friends laptop.
I was using the same GBA file I use on my own PC to play on her Mac, and as it said I needed to start a new file - being unable to play my original save file, I started a new one.
Now, I usually save using the in-game save thing, the one in the (pokemon) games 'start' menu. Not really thinking, I saved my current progress in the game I'd started on her Mac.

What I want to know is - will my saving a different game (on MAC, keep in mind) using the same GBA file overwrite the one I'd been working on in my PC if I save the same way? (using the Pokemon games in-game menu)

as long as they are different .sav files, it shouldnt affect your progress
