VBA-SDL-H crashing with clean Fire Red

I have been working with the normal VBA-sdl version for a long time, but found the lack of a breakpoint on read frustrating at times, so decided to move to the H version,
that I had tried in the past with some other games. As I tried to open the Fire Red or Leaf green roms, the screen went white on the emulator and the error report popup appeared.

Anyone else has tried to open the Fire red version on this emulator and found this problem? It works with most games, but all pokemon games (except R\S) are crashing the emulator.

I run it on Windows XP SP4 with a dual core 2.0GHz and 4GB RAM. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. The less task my pc is running at once, the bigger is the chance for the emulator will run my rom.
When it's loaded it runs nearly perfect.
I usealy just reloads my rom until it works.
They're other games which I have bigger trouble with.
