    Spoiler:

    So I gotta say.. I just went to visit another one of the forums I'm on. Normally the layout is pretty decent, and colorful.. but loading up the page I saw that.

    D8

    Just.. D8

    I have a feeling that PC will look close to the same once it updates, unless maybe the admins are really planning ahead to make a layout, or something. vB3/2/1 layouts don't work with it.. ; ;

    Sure it looks new, and shiny.. but eh. Things look switched around, and the usernames are all tiny, and and and.. D8

    I dunno about anyone else, but I'm gonna have to get used to it, before I like it. The post editing pages are different, too.

    Edit:

    The profiles remind me of facebook, somehow..XD;

    Well, they said they would be making rather massive template changes. So, it'll probably end up being as secure as VB4, but with the overall layout as VB3.8.X. At least, that's what I'm hoping for. ;_;

    Believe me, I dislike that thing as much as you do.

    I don't know too many people who are in love with the new look of VB4.0. It... just doesn't fit the mold of what we're used to - not to mention what we've come to adore.

    I for one think it's hideous, and that's coming from a guy who uses the vBulletin default right here at PC. Makes me pretty joyous the staff don't wanna upgrade right away. 8D

    I'm really glad they decided to wait to update, too. xD

    vBulliten looks really cool, but, really? A facebook look-a-like for profiles? That just saddens me. D:

    My rage levels are steadily rising with each and every glance I have of VB 4!
    Fare de well poke link 3, I will miss you old fave style of mine.

    VB4 is just sort of... Rounder than the old. What a waste of all PC's styles if we change. Hopefully, there wont be a change.

    Most of us admins will cry if we have to use the default vB4 because it's so hideous so... for a while, at least, we're safe from it. :(

    The hellish pain that is vBulletin4... -shudders-

    I'm more concerned about bugs. I'm on that same forum, and the load time for my inbox has increased to the point that I can click the link, leave, walk my dogs, have dinner, and talk with my family for a couple hours...

    ...And it'll still be loading. >>

    I came, I saw, I screamed.

    Having experienced some of this loveliness on the very forums mentioned, all I have to say is holy crap why? vBulletin4 is glitchy, unstable in loading, inconveniently organized, and still severely defunct in several areas, most notably the forum layout tools. Album management is a massive pain in the ass compared to the old, language settings are still glitching in places and I have yet to see any significant of improvement to vB3.

    So basically, vB4 is like the Windows Vista to vB3's Windows XP. I second all hate ever aimed towards it because it's well deserved.
