    Valentine's Card Contest

    Submissions: Feb 8 - 17 || Voting: Feb 17 - 22

    Hello everyone, Serena here! It's almost Valentine's Day, and that means it's time to give something to your special someone! Or your friends, if you don't have anyone in mind this year. :) Usually I give home-made desserts out to everyone, but since I'm travelling right now, I don't think I can do that this year. I know what I can do, though- make cards! They're pretty easy to do but still invoke that special feeling of a handcrafted gift. <3 Oh- everybody should make cards with me! It'll be a fun project and you can give your cards out with pride when we're done!

    Oh, even more fun- let's have a contest! Best cards get a lovely prize!
    Instructions for Card-Making​
    ♥ Each person may only enter one card. There are two categories to enter, so choose wisely!
    ♥ Each card must be 500x300px or 300x500px. Transparency is allowed for things like lacy edges, but must not deviate significantly from those dimensions.
    ♥ The theme is "Pokémon Anime". Your card must have some reference or image to relate it to the theme!
    ♥ The first category will be "Serious". This one is for artsy people- make the most gorgeous and heartfelt valentine you can! It'll be judged more on quality and overall beauty than other things.
    ♥ The second category will be "Silly". This one is for people who prefer to joke around and will be more like a caption contest- make people laugh to win!
    ♥ CSS is allowed!
    ♥ You may use as many or as few images in your card as you like.
    ♥ Include all source images with your submission! Let's not let artists go uncredited.
    ♥ Your card must have some text included. A simple "Be mine~" or an elaborate poem, it's up to you.
    ♥ Your card must have "To: ____" and "From: ____" somewhere on it. It's up to you if you want to include names.
    Instructions for Voting​
    ♥ Winners of each category will be determined by popular vote.
    ♥ All participants are required to vote. If you do not, you will be disqualified.
    ♥ Do not vote for your own submission. If you do, you will be disqualified.
    ♥ You may only vote for one entry in each category.

    I'm entering for the Silly category even though my caption isn't that silly (depending on your perception of puns :P) but I can't draw a Luvdisc and/or Krabby so... The Luvdisc and Krabby background is courtesy of: ArtExxo
    The text, boxes, and borders are made with CSS and the image is resized to 500pxH x 300pxW by CSS.
