Veronica, where are you?

We all know who Veronica Taylor is. She's played none other than Ash Ketchum for the first eight seasons of Pokemon. Now that PUSA took over the dub, they got rid of one of the best voice actresses in the known universe. Not only did she play Ash, she also played Ingrid Third (Disney's Filmore), Riku (Final Fantasy), Nico (One Peice), Tamao (Shaman King) and way too much other to name. Not only did she play Ash, but she played Delia, May and many other additional voices. I'm not sure what she's doin' now but she deserves to be the main. I know, Kayzie has been with Pokemon since the beginning, but you can't just suddenly change the actors. 4kids, if you're reading this, for the love of all that is good and holy, buy back the frickin' dub!

PUSA will never let 4Kids get back Pokémon. If you want to hear Veronica watch Dinosaur King, she uses her Ash voice for Max(the main character). If she was one of the best ever, why did May and Ash sound alike? Anyway, Rachel Lillis is better than her, Stuart, and Maddie. The voices are better too, Ash's just needs to fix things.

So please, stop living in the past. It's not healthy.

IMO, I don't want the current voice actor, but I don't want Veronica back either. I want a MALE voice actor. The USA dub makes the Mexican dub look like GOLD AND DIAMONDS :D. And it actually does look that way with current circumstances and the male voice actor.

Right now. Veronica is at her house, what a dumb question.

PUSA didn't want 4Kids to have it. After 2 years, I don't know why people care anymore. You should've made your mind up by now over whether you want to stop watching or just get over it and continue. Out of Veronica and Sarah? Rica Matsumoto XD

It's probably better just to call PUSA on it and get ahold of someone there and mention it to them (thanks to a certain person online, I found out that this is actually alot easier and faster to do than most people think) rather than constantly mentioning it on the boards.

It's not that we don't care or that we're trying to be mean. It's just that we personally can't do anything about it from here. We don't own the franchise (or in this case, the American branch of it).

Personally, I don't have a problem with it anymore. But if you do, that's probably the most effective way to go about things.

I was kind of wondering why I thought of Pokemon every time Dinosaur King came on o.0 ("Why does this show remind me so much of Pokemon!?" *watches a Pokemon AG Clip* "Something is alike... but what?" *Bulbapedia* "Ash and Max have the same VA?" *Bulbas more* "Wow... look at the VA lineup... like half the voices in DK are from Pokemon!" {Jessie---Ursula, and the aformended Ash---Max, along with some others I don't recall})

Unfortunately, they aren't showing Dinosaur King in their current lineup... But it's INSANELY popular, to still be on the website. I think. See if it's on the site.


And I never noticed the Ash/May thing either. Heh ^^'



PS, I know that feeling. I miss the VAs the Sonic characters had BEFORE 4kids took over... I mean, sure, the dude that voice Egghead died, but that doesn't mean you have to replace THE WHOLE ****ING CREW.
I hate Jason Griffith. Especially when he's voicing Shadow. ARG. He RUINS him! ;-;
Okay, they DID recycle some voice clips for Egghead... but what about everyone else?

If you want her in something non-Japanese, she still does April O'Neil on the 03 Ninja Turtles toon, so there you go. Especially if you want an adult May sound.

As for the issue, I'll re-edit it later, but I'm not as concerned as I used to be. Frankly, I'm more concerned on PUSA and their plotting/scripting than I am on voices.

Ohohoh.. you should see Sarah Natochenny's myspace. It's filled a lot of fan comments, but there's also a lot of comments
telling her to step down from her role as Ash. & If she cared about the fans then she would step down, so that Veronica could take over.

Even if she did, that doesn't mean that Veronica would return to voice him, if PUSA didn't want to pay her. I miss Veronica's Ash,
but some of the other 4Kids VA's are coming back into the series to voice minor characters. Maybe she will eventually as well.
