2nd Gen Very Frustrated Need Remoraid .help!

    I have been playin pokemon silver gold and crystal eversince they came out. On all of them, i have my pokedex up to 248. All I need is Remoraid and Octillery. I have tried website forums before and they just keep telling me to go to RTE 44 to find the pokemon i need. Remoraid is not there!! I am getting so mad. Im 17 and still trying to catchemall. So can some one please please please give me a more reliable or definite solution on finding remoraid please? Thank you. Beacet. :confused:
     
    Hmm, get Wilton the fisherman's number. He's at Rt. 44 I think. Wait for him to call you about the Remoraid swarming and then go fish. :)
     
    Well I've tried that for ever on my crystal. He wont call, even if i talk to my mom to switch the time and such. But is that all I can do to come up with a bunch of swarming remoraid? Wilton is the only guy on my pokegear. Besides Elm and Mom
     
    Unfortunetly, yes. That's the only way to get it without cheating.

    Talking to your mom does nothing to speed up the process. You just need to wait. It only takes time.
     
    Well... considering Remoraid is a GSC release... I'd assume so.
     
    Remoraid is only catchable in G/S. You will have to trade from gold or silver to crystal if you want him. Otherwise you only other options are codes are live without him. As for where you find him in G/S go to route 44 and fish.
     
    If you want to make it easier on yourself, go ahead and wait for the call. Remoraid will still be there, call or not, rare or uncommon.
     
    [sarcasm]Ok, I am going to tell you what worked for me to get this "Remoraid."

    First, I pre-heated the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit. Next, I got out a large dish (preferably a cake dish). I greased the pan lightly and sprinkled the bottom with flour. Now, I opened a can of Anchovies. Very delicately I pulled out two. Make sure you wear gloves and have a Rabbi bless the meal. If you so chose you could have a priest sprinkle holy water. Coat your game cartridge in barbeque sauce.

    Spin around 3 times screaming "Come out Map!" 3 times as well. Be positively sure that you place the cart in the dead center of the pan and allign both Anchovies to face the cartridge. Once all of that has been completely you may now put the dish into the oven. Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly golden. Pull out dish carefully and make a wish. Put cartridge into Game Boy. Remoraid is now yours![/sarcasm]

    Well, if one Pok?mon is giving you that much trouble, is it really worth it? If so, just listen to what the other people said. Wilton will be your guide on the path to Remoraid.
