This is most likley going to be both a Wi-Fi Team AND a casual battle team, so the movesets are more for my entertainment, however, I do plan on a Wi-Fi battle run, so I need some help settling down on team members. I have nine Pokemon that I'm leveling right now.. Can I get some suggestions on which Pokemon would work best together, and which ones need changes?

I want the team to revolve around my Vileplume causing Status and general irritation to shut down the opposing team, but I don't know who to add for the rest.

We need to know your Pokemon's EVs and item holding in order to rate.

From a glance I see lots of Pokemon that are outclassed in OU, such as Dunsparce. Vileplume is probably a bad OU lead. It's beaten by Azelf and Aerodactyl. Anti-lead Weavile and Gallade put a dent in it as well. Skarmory, Forry, and Roserade set up on it with ease. And Bronzong doesn't mind being paralyzed.

Also a team is six Pokemon, not nine.

    @ Freakylocz

Editing right now to show Ev's, and editing to show my lead possibilities. Vileplume would be a very hard lead to use.
However I did mention that I needed assistance in choosing the final lineup, meaning that I haven't settled on a final Pokemon team yet. That is the reason for nine Pokemon here.

Well what tier do you want to play in? Remember that having just one OU or BL Pokemon makes your team automatically OU. Judging from the fact that you have Ludicolo, Kingrda, and Kabutops you could shoot for a Rain Dance team.

The teir does not so much matter to me. The team isn't fit for Shoddy or anything, if it was, the natures would be perfect.
I wasn't aware that Tiers applied on Wi-Fi, I suppose that I'd be shooting OU then, even if my monsters are outclassed. I can make it work.

Flamethrower should be used instead of Rock Slide for Dragonite imo, it hits Steel Pokemon bar Heatran that resist Outrage. Then, change its nature to maybe Lonely so it doesn't hinder Outrage or Flamethrower. And use 60 HP / 252 Atk / 196 Speed to outrun max Speed Adamant Breloom, defensive Zapdos, and max Speed Jolly Tyranitar, remember though Outrage only deals ~65% to Zapdos.

    Other speed points:
    Spoiler:

Sleep Powder > Toxic for Vileplume, I just don't really see having two status moves that don't guarantee that the opponent will switch will be that effective... Energy Ball would be more effective than Giga Drain imo, with higher PP and power; but it depends on you I guess. Leech Seed or maybe Aromatherapy > Swagger would be more effective I think, providing team support / healing or removing status from the team (rain sweepers dislike paralysis), respectively.

As for Flygon, another option would be Jolly nature but Fire Blast instead of Flamethrower. Now it deals more damage as well as not lowering Sp.Def, but for the cost of accuracy.

Bold > Impish for Weezing, it isn't using any physical attacks.

Adamant nature should be used for Kabutops. I also suggest using a EV spread of 32 HP / 252 Atk / 20 Def / 204 Speed to outrun Scarfed base 100's in rain, and Tyranitar outside of rain. Aqua Jet, X-Scissor, or Low Kick / Brick Break > Return, Return doesn't hit anything Waterfall and Rock Slide don't bar Breloom which most variants are OHKOed by a +2 Waterfall in rain anyway.

Rain Dance > Flash Cannon definitely, you need more rain support and Steel grants awful coverage. And use Modest nature if you haven't.
    ---

I think the team order would be more effective as Ludi / Kingdra / Tops / Nite / Forry or Plume / Flygon, and probably fit Rain Dance on Plume and maybe Flygon. If you do this though, change Flamethrower to Aqua Tail on Nite and Lonely to Adamant.

It's not that tiers matter on Wi-Fi they are just a general rule for competitive battles. I don't mean to mini-mod but the main forum is for competive teams. If you go to the Wi-Fi forum tiers are applied in battle threads there for the most part.

That being said there are some UU and NU Pokemon that have niches in OU. Like Porygon-2 for example. You just have to know how to use them properly.

Oh wow, I guess I should have done a little checking up on Wi-Fi rules before posting, my apologies.
I guess my little guys are taking on OU then!
Not a problem mini modding, it's just trying to help out. Thanks.

    @Wolflare
I wish I could follow your advise on Natures, those are indeed what I shot for, but three weeks of breeding was enough for me, so I'm sticking to my guns.

Your Ev's for Dragonite make sense... I think I wrote my set from a MixNite, so I'll check out the effectiveness for your set compared to my needs.

The problem on Sleep Powder V-Plume is that I'm running three grass moves, the original set I wrote included Sleep, but it was blocked too easily. Plus, the set doesn't nessacarily want a switch, because that eliminates confusion from Swagger. Energy Ball is an option for Power over Healing I suppose.

Now that I'm resigned to OU Kabutops will most likley swith to a Low Kick set. Return was filler for removing Stone Edge.

Kingdra had Rain Dance and I removed it for Flash Cannon... Darn.. It makes sense though.

I had no clue Rain Dance went on Flygon! Hmm...

    Thanks for all the help!

Ah, you can still *smogon.com link removed* them btw, bit confusing but PC will have a more in depth guide for it soon if they're still working on it...

How's that a problem though? Both Sleep Powder and Stun Spore still effect Grass-types. :s

Oh, I assumed Flygon could learn since pretty much everything else could lol. >_>

RNG Abuse sounds insane hahah. It might be worth it.

Erhhurmhahhum... But still, the fact that with Sleep Powder, I would be shooting for two mutally exclusive goals, Switching and Confusion, makes it problematic.

Flygon unfortunatley does not learn Rain Dance.
