Whew! Just a few more days and I would have had to redo this thing. Thanks for reminding me of it. XD Glad you like it!

Minor update, but one none-the-less.

- It's Toph. I didn't have to do a lot, but I'm happy with it, I guess. Twas a dare. =p

Recoloured and overshaded Dewgong. I like how the head came out, but that's about it. =/

I am really impressed here by your shading and choice of colours. I love the rose a lot, it really looks great.

However, I think by using a lot of colours (overshading if you will), you have neglected other shading techniques i.e. dithering. It takes more skill to create pixel art using less colours, and by using dithering the same effect can be made as if you used several colours (which also makes for smaller filesizes ;p).

So yeah, I reckon you should practice dithering on some of your pieces. Maybe that Dewgong would have turned out better if you dithered, so give it a shot. It's hard to learn when to use it though, just so you know. You should try and look at some tutorials ^^

Amachi: Thank you! That's some really handy advice. (CC = <3) I'm not very good with dithering and got easily addicted to "overshading," but I'll definitely work on dithering some other stuff some times. I'm glad you like the rose, too. :3
