Okay so I was lucky enough to get a light ball from a recently caught pikachu.Now how do a get a pichu that can learn volt tackle?

I believe you just take the Pikachu with the Light Ball, and then breed a Pichu from it. The Pichu should know Volt Tackle when it hatches.

Its as simple as that. Volt tackle pikachus are cool in my opinion, as a matter of fact Im gonna breed myself one for contests.

Yes, you should just attach the Light Ball to a Pikachu and then breed it either with anouther Pikachu or Ditto.
