    i play on pokemon sapphire and i have a lvl 58 vulpix who won't evolve i got him at lvl 29 near Mt Pyre and i have raised him in battle but he hasn't evolved yet i really want ninetails so anyone who knows what to do please give me a reply.Also he has 3 ribbons. i'm not sure may be its the pokeball i caught him in the black and yellow one.

    duh... evolve it using fire stone....
    (dont use bold letters & big fonts, its deeply annoying!!!!)
     
    were can i get a fire stone?

    i'm guessing in the big department store which lvl do u know?

    ok thanks i will go to the islandf and no i'm not surte on the shards

    were is that bloody island

    also dosn't help keep getting attacked by rubbish pokemon like lvl 30

    Well, whenever you find the house the guy will ask you if you have any shards or something..
    Anyway, just go surf around that route, and if you see any pokeballs sitting on the small islands take them because they usually contain shards.
    Red Shard = Fire Stone
    After you get the shard take it back to the Hunters house and talk to him.
    Exchange it for the stone, and evolve your Vulpix!

    has shoal salt and sheels anything to do with it?

    No, not the Shoal items.
    Just surf around the area where you found the Hunter's house.
    Eventually you'll find pokeballs that contain the shards.
