Discuss what you think should be altered (or should be to begin with() in the topic of wekanesses and resistances, etc.

One thing I always thought is that Bug Pokemon should be weak against Water rather then Fire. Sure, lighting a bug on fire is hazardous, but lighting a mole on fire will yield bad results as well. Whereas leaves burning for grass types is understandable, I don't buy it for bug types, and ratehr I thinhk a weakness to water would be a bit more fair. I've seen too many bugs get trapped in water and feebly try to swim.......

I think that bugs should be weak to fire.

    I dont get why:
-water isnt weak to ice, I mean, ice freezes water, right?
    -Normal isnt weak to poison
-Bug isnt weak to electricity. Electric Bug Zapper > Bugs
    -Ghost can hit Fighting

    Those are the main ones.

uh...ice doesn't freeze water, ice is water.
anyway, the weakness chart in pokemon isn't likely to change
it's just a way to keep the game balanced.

Bugs ARE weak to fire, BTW.

Ice is cold water, basically, so I can understand the Ice/Water relationship.

What I don't get is why Poison has a Ground weakness. It's balanced, but I still don't quite get it.

I know that makes no sense I don't see a relationship. The same with Bugs being superefective against Psychic

Actually, I can get the Bug/Psychic one, to some extent. Psychic powers usually require concentration, and if a psychic is being bugged, they can't concentrate as much. Also, bug types often follow a hive mind, which is very different to how normal minds work.

Doesn't help that a lot of Bug types are also Poison type as well, however.

    ...balanced?

Water types are way too overpowered at the moment (Grass and Electric as it's only weakness, and they are both sp.attacks).

They should really add a physical weakness to Water types.
Maybe Poison? Since water pollution is pretty big stuff.

Uhh....that's not the Bug/Psychic relation. Being a bug and to bug somebody means different things and have no connection. The reason Psychcs are inneffective against Bugs are because bugs are so simple minded that psychic attacks do not affect like they do for things with actual complex minds to attack.

If you put ice in a container of water, it will melt. On the flipside, if you put some water in a container of ice, it will most likely freeze too so.....

I always thought water should do more against steel since it'll like cause rust, even though that takes a while

    i always agreed about that.

i always thought steel being resistant to dragon was a bad idea, since the whole point of dragons was that they were hard to train but in the end came through since their attack were weak against none...except steel. I really think Nintendo should rethink the whole thing.

perhaps adding poison as a weakness is a good idea because that would create a weakness against Kingdra which can kind of be a pain sometimes.
