I can't find a way for it to learn ice punch. Could I stick with Ice Shard tho?

If you want Ice Punch in your Weavile:

Have a Hitmonchan learn Ice Punch and breed it with a female Buneary (hard to find for me) then wait until you get a male Buneary from the egg and then breed it with a female Sneasel. It's kind of hard, but Weavile is a very good Pokémon.

it's a little dangerous if you consider that all you have to do is switch Tyranitar in to finish it, but if the person doesn't have Ttar, then you could probably sweep with 2 Swords Dances under your belt.

The only move Smearlge can learn is sketch so that is why ice punch did not pass on to him and passing on a certain nature with a female pokemon holding an everstone is not 100% guaranteed.

Well, that's why I gave it Focus sash to avoid a OHKO during the first turn.

Not so fast, I wouldn't count on it. A choice scarf Heracross would reck that Weavile.
