I hope this is ok. I don't think we get much posting here because of other business but it worth a try.

Let discuss the recent Pokemon episdoe in the US! Episode #413: Hook on Onix!!!

Also I think I got the wrong episode number so can somebody fix the title if I am wrong. Please?

This episode got kinda boring for me... I mean, how many times have we seen TR trick some wild pokemon into thinking that the Twerps are evil only to have Ash convince them of their mistake in the end? -_-

Sorry, but I've just seen it already.

Was there a reason that "Onix" was spelled "Onyx" in the title? I think that may have been a typo. ^^;

Am I the only one that thinks it's kinda lame that these wild pokemon always believe Team Rocket? Why would these guys believe any humans; especially ones who give them little to no evidence on why they should believe them. If I were the Onix I would be all, "I do no human's bidding!" and stuff. Oh well.

It would be really funny if Onix just got fed up with them all and whacked them into next Tuesday with his tail. XD

One thing I did like though: old VA's! Yayness! I've never appreciated James' squeals and Ash's grunting so much. ^-^

Could we not metion the VA situation in this tread. This has nothing to do with this episode excpet the name has Pokemon. Please let not discuss the VAs here.

Was there a reason that "Onix" was spelled "Onyx" in the title? I think that may have been a typo. ^^;

It was that way for a pun 'Hooked on Onix' was supposed to be like 'Hooked on Phonix' that program that helps children learn to how read... ^^;

Anyhoo, Onix is my favorite Pokemon...at all...so I didnt much care for that end of it, or the whole 'Ash-convincing-then-they-were-good' plot.... but I liked the interaction between the Pokemon towards the begining of the episode.

My apologies... I wasn't intending to talk of the VA situation... I was just mentioning that I enjoyed hearing them again. *shrug* It was more of a playful joke than a serious comment. .___. Again, sorry!

And as for the title... um... Hooked on Phonics? -_- 4Kids must be running out of puns. XD I was actually not wondering what the pun was, but why Onix was spelled that way. I guess its because that episode deals with rock pokemon of various types, and Onyx is the word that Onix was derived from, meaning a kind of rock that is used in a gemstone. Wait... that makes sense!

Anyway, my stupid rambling about non-important details aside, I forgot to mention that I did enjoy the part with the pokemon interaction as well! So I concur Drew, that part was very cute and fun to watch. ^-^
