    oh boy i hope i posted this in the right place...well as the title suggests, im not really sure what they are. i tried googling it but bulbapedia gave me a scientific version of it(too scientific 4 me 2 understand), so i was hoping my fellow members could explain it in understandable words. i've been seeing it all over the trading threads & it seems like something i'd better know if i want 2 do any trading when i get HG or SS. im kinda dense, so if u explain it your best & i still dont get it plz dont b upset with me, i'll figure it out...

    if this is in the wrong thread i'd appreciate it if a mod(or whoever does those kind of things) would move it 2 the correct 1. im a noob, i make noob mistakes...

    I'm sorry I can't explain it well enough for you. :< But this will explain EVs and this will explain IVs

    I guess this would have been better to ask in HGSS' simple Q&A, but oh well. :( If you have further questions, ask in that thread.
