    Hi

What exactly are these EX cards? My little brother's friends are always talking about them and my brother says that he doesn't have any so I wanted to get him some. I noticed that his friends cards have EX printed on them but when I was checking Ebay for these cards many of the auctions claims to be selling EX cards but when I check the picture they put up of the card it does not have EX printed on them. So what exactly are these cards and how do I tell they are EX? Aside from ebay where can I find them? Are they sold in those packs?

    Thanks for your help!

"EX cards", or Pokémon-ex, are very powerful versions of Pokémon cards. They're very rare and used a fair bit in battles. The reason you've found a lot of non-Pokémon-ex is because the TCG sets used to use EX as a prefix; e.g. EX Unseen Forces and EX Power Keepers. You can tell a Pokémon-ex because the name has ex after the name (for example, Charizard ex) and the border is holograpic. Example:

There are a wide range of Pokémon-ex cards as well. If you go to PokéBeach, Click on EX Series Sets on the left-hand side and all the sets in that list contain Pokémon-ex.

    Hope that helps. :)
