4th Gen What ball did you use to catch mesprit?

    What ball did you use to catch mesprit? Every time you encounter it, it fled, so can't really use a great ball/ultraball once to catch it one time.
     
    I mean looked it with a golbat i think and then caught it with a dusk ball.
     
    master because i thought it was impossible but when i realized you have to catch cresselia the same way i kept mean looking it the attacked and eventually i used quick ball after liuke 15 battles with it.
     
    I caught with my 5th Ultra Ball and I didn't weaken it.
     
    It's pretty simple actually.

    First, play at night!
    Second, use Wobuffett
    Third, start chuckin' Dusk Balls, and after 40 turns, Timer Balls, too!

    Repeat for Cresselia! ^_^
     
    I used a Master Ball that I cloned through the GTS to catch it easily. I'm not going through all that trouble of catching it if I'm not going to use it in competitive battling.
     
    I used a Masterball on Mesprit, a Great Ball on Uxie and an Ultra Ball on Azelf.
     
    I used a quick ball, I weaked it then when it was red I let it run away, then when I found it in the grass again I used a quick ball, only had to use 1 quick ball. :)
     
    I used my cloned masterball for both Mesprit and Cresselia.
     
    I used my Golbat w/ Mean Look, trapped Mespirit, and threw a few Ultra Balls. Done. My Master Ball is for Cresselia, and Cresselia only.
