OK, here's my dilemma. My friend gave me a CD voucher for my birthday, and I have enough to get one album, or two on sale, but I can't decide what to get... which of the following should I get?

Good Charlotte *and* Good Charlotte - The Young and the Hopeless
    Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue
    Trapt
Taking Back Sunday - Where You Want To Be

which are all albums I'm dying for, except for the GC ones which I have copies of but I thought I should get legit copies....

or should I wait a month and get

Good Charlotte - Chronicles of Life and Death
    or
Simple Plan - Still Not Getting Any...

    I'm so confused... XD

i have yellow card and it's an awsome cd maybe you should get that one or taking back sunday, their also good.(these are just my opinons)

Yeah, I know, they're all really good bands which is why I just can't decide...

I'm so confused just looking at what you want, lol. O_o In my opinion, if you already have copies of the Good Charlotte CDs, then there's no sense in wasting your money (in this case a perfectly good voucher) on songs you already have. Just...stay away from any form of government that doesn't like bootleg items and you'll be okay...heh. Hmm, but I do like Yellowcard, as well. ^_^ And if there are two CDs you want, and they're on sale, I think you should get both so it'll add to your benefit. Simple Plan's always a good choice, too. XD Good luck on your decision!

Yeah... it's so confusing... I'm really looking forward to the new GC and SP CDs, they're my two favourite bands and I'm really obsessed with them... but Trapt is something I've been wanting for ages... Yellowcard and TBS I only just discovered and they're great.....

    Don't go for Good Charolette.
    Don't go for Simple Plan.

    Yellowcard is okay...

Get Taking Back Sunday, or you will seriously regret it. But aside from those choices I would say 'Matchbook Romance- Stories and Alibis'

I was backstage with TBS, and they are seriously the greatest people ever. Down to Earth, true to life punk styled people, and their music definetly reflects it.

You just discovered TBS?!??!?! Do you have thier first CD? Get 'Tell all your friends'!... or else....

I knew you would get TBS...

GC and SP are my favourite bands...

    I constantly obsess over GC...

I want to marry Joel XD

wait a month and get SP! Yay! SP! I'm getting it as soon as it comes out. SP is my fav band!

I got Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue CD yesterday...VERY good CD...that's what I think you should get...

Poser or not, I like their music... XD

    *is STILL undecided*

Simple Plan is good... So is Good Charlotte... I'm not too fond of Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday is all right... Though they do get on my nerves a good bit... I'd suggest simply whatever you like. Heh. Sorry I'm not much help.

Can someone please explain to me what it really means to be "punk"?

Well, you already have copies of Good Charlotte *and* Good Charlotte - The Young and the Hopeless, so cross that one of the list for a start. So, it's now between Yellowcard, Trapt, TBS, GC and SP (yes I like abbreviations ^_^). Which one do you like the best and want the most? You're going to have to sacrifice 4 of them (or 3 if 2 are in the sale), so it's all about your personal preferences. IMO they all are as good as each other, so it's all down to you............

I like Taking Back Sunday! If you should get ANY CD it should be taking back sunday (...don't listen to me, its sooo your decision and I want you to be happy for your own self, not me, I'll be happy anyways :))

    Yeah, sacrifice 4 is right....

    *twitches a lot*

AAARGH... it's so hard to choose. I might wait 4 more years and get 4 more vouchers XD. No... well... *screams slightly*

Oh, and to be "punk"? No one knows what it is anymore XD. But people say "so-and-so are posers", so that's odd XD... people say I'm a poser XD

My opinion? You may like sellout music and I respect your opinion, but that doesn't remove the fact that they are sellouts. They don't really need your support because of that, so if it was up to me, I would just listen to the unlegit versions, and contribute money to people that would need it more.

Thats just me though, so feel free to ignore this message entirely. ;)

Because I have burns of them already...

But Britt, I don't consider them sellouts as they never sold themselves as "uber-punk" anyway...
