2nd Gen what different between GBA and GBC?

They are both consoles.
GB: GameBoy
GBC: GameBoy Color
GBA: GameBoy Advance

Timeline:
GB -> GBC ->GBA -> DS
 
As mentioned above, the GBA is slightly newer than GBC and there is an improvement in alot of things like graphics, gameplay etc.
