what do power items do?

    The power items in diamond/pearl which say promates stat gain on lvling but also says reduces the speed stat. how much would the speed stat drop?? and how much does a power item give on a stat?

    It adds +4 EVs to the stat the item says raises. The speed is an in battle only drop so it's really nothing to worry about. This belongs in the simple FAQ question thread.
     
    cloud6822, the character limit's there for a reason. Don't bypass it.
