    do you make secret bases or try to catch all the pokemon *note this only pertains to people who have beaten the game* i do both XD
     
    I've done both.
    I caught all possible Pok?mon in the Ruby version just using standard Pok?balls. (except the safari ones)

    I also made a secret base down in Route 121 in the tree just southeast of the weather institute. (it's next to a waterfall >_<) I've made a Pikachu and Pichu Bros. shrine in it!
     
    I mostly just make my secret base even better! and I do it 4 my house also!!!!!
     
    i do all that but i am catching all the pokemon right now but my secret base is my relaxing place ^^
