What do you think the characters will be like when they are all grown up?
I've been wondering about this today and I was wondering what other people think also. I will answer later.

Hmm...

Boy, that's a toughie! Well, this is what I think that will happen.

Ash - When older, Ash would show much more signs of maturity, even though he will still act like the Ash we know and love. Won't be a Pok?mon master for a while. Even though Pok?mon will still be his top priority, maybe he'd find other things important as well. Maybe he finally figures out that girls aren't really a bad thing...

Misty - Never letting anybody persuade her otherwise, she will still follow Ash as long as she physically can. If not, she'd still keep in touch with him in other ways. Like Ash, she'd show more signs of maturity and maybe changes her hairdo, although I like it the way it is. May lose her fear of bug Pok?mon. Possibly, although unlikely, will reveal her feelings for Ash.

Brock - For some reason, I still think that he'd act the same way towards girls as he does now. In those cases, somebody's gotta drag him out of it. Besides that, finally becomes a top class Pok?mon breeder, but still manages to hang out with Ash and friends.

Tracey - Still working for Professor Oak, he becomes a world renowned Pok?mon artist because of his stay in the lab. Maybe finds a girl that he actually is compatible with.

May - Still in progress to become a top Pok?mon coordinator, she would be likely to venture out with Ash and friends. She might see that Drew isn't such a bad guy after all.

Max - Being a brother to May and all, he'd have to travel wherever May went. Max gets to be old enough to become a Pok?mon trainer, but oddly enough starts out bad like Ash. Still won't lose his know-it-all attitude.

Jessie - Honestly won't think she'd change much.

James - Ditto with James.

Gary - One of the top Pok?mon researchers in the Pok?mon world, second only to the existing professors. Speciallizes on Pok?mon habits and abilities, since his previous trainer skills would prove useful. Won't act like a show-off like he does to Ash anymore, people will respect him. Maybe becomes Viridian City's gym leader.

Pikachu and Meowth - Will change attitudes with their respectful Pok?mon trainers.

Looking into the far distant future. I see an ageing ash and pikachu. Ash has grandchildren now, while being out with his grandson who is just starting out as a pokemon tranier. Ash a pokemon master now, will be out for a walk with him pikachu at his side, giving him advice for his life of pokemon adventure that is about to begin. All of a sudden team rocket attacks, not jesse and james, but other team rocket members, all wanting revenge for his meddling over the years in the team rocket organization. Anyway, things happen and pikachu is about to be killed, but ash sacrfices himself for his lifelong friend and dies with pikachu by his side. Very sad, but peaceful and heartwarming at the same time. Ash tells his grandson to take care of pikachu now, and to let pikachu be his guide on his pokemon journeys. A whole new pokemon series starts up again. An elderly pikachu, at Ash's grandsons side, never battling, but always there to guide him. Pikachu has many dream sequences of ash when he was young when he learned something great when the grandson learns the same in his adventures.

Well, you know that episode in the Orange Islands with that picture of the group of people who are on a boat around that golden pokeball thing? Well, I'd love to have a picture to show you guys because everyone in that picture looks like an older versions of the main characters!

Ash- Still Impaitiont. Sharing a flat with Misty mabye probaly the same sort of pokemon of course picachu but i think it wont battle much just Rest on ashs shoulder

Misty - Sharing a house with ash. Has a new togepi witch is just as cute ^_^. She also will probaly have a bit more respect from her sisiters and will become a trong water trainer

Brock - Runs a cooking show with ashes mom XD. He will have his crobat back and gets married to a nurse joy

Max - Will be a pokemon trainer and Have a mix of Brock/may and ashs pokemon

May- Probaly still Wont Like walking. Is married to drew but gets really jealouse when drew talks to other women

Tracey - Going to be a cool Artist and will make his own art studio hes too busy for love

Jesse- Probaly stuck with wobbefet still

James - Dies his hair Brown and gets a decent cut

Thats the furturetune in tommorrow for the furture of Digimon XD

Based on my fanfic Pokemon Beyond

Ash: Matures and joins the Wild Force(a special department that deals with Pokemon that attack or kill humans) team because he was inspired after walloping TR so many times. Ash will pair up with a junior female member. Later Ash found out his past life as a Ho-oh and by the magic of a temple he gains the power to morph into one.

Pikachu: Stays with Ash even in Wild Force

Misty: Cerulean City gym leader and she has a attitude like Naru in Love Hina when it comes to Brock.

Brock: One of the top Pokemon Breeders in history has a weakness for girls. Misty always punches him into the horizon.

May: Becomes an adventurer

Max: in High school and assisting Prof. Birch in part-time

Tracey: Assistant to young Prof. Oak(Gary)

Prof. Oak(The old one): A man with dentures and a flowing white beard now. Walking on threes.

Gary:Now a Professor, he has a delinqent record for slashing off a classmate's nose. That classmate was Anakin, a boy who knows even more about Pokemon than Gary since Anakin can speak with them. For what reason, well young people make rash mistakes in their youth and regretting when you are older. (Later Anakin was shunned for having no nose by society like his cyborg father and joined and changed Team Rocket)

Jessie and James: Oh too bad they were killed in a gunfight with the Hoeun police force who inflitrated the TR Hoeun base. But their good friend Meowth survived and was assigned a very capable trainer, Anakin.

Ash and Misty- I think they will end up together since Misty loves Ash. It's so obvious, really, if you look at the amine closely. I also think Misty will become a great water pokemno trainer and Ash...not guaranteed a Pokemon master really but...
May- I think she'll end up as a master coordinator working with Drew. ^_^
Brock- I think he'll wind up as a matser Pokemon breeder, always helping his friends and whoever requests upon his help.
Max- I think Max will become a Pokemon trainer, then a pokemon scholar with his Sceptile since he DID want a Treeko for his beginning pokemon.
Tracey- A pokemon watcher of course, and always the next professor Oak's assistant.
Jesse and James- together on a fancy business spree, quitting team rocket. XP

This thread title reminds me of Rugrats All Grown Up! ;)

Ash: Ash will really mature a lot, but still have the same determination, and love for Pokemon. Of course, he will still have Pikachu too! He will be Pokemon Master, and will be famous, almost definilty. He may calm down and focus more on his future ocupation, but, he will be the same Ash we grew up with.

Misty: Misty will surely tag along with Ash, until the end of time. But, since she got her bike back, she will probably be asked by Ash to join him. She will probably become less of a tomboy, and want to be pretty in front of Ash. She most likely won't admit her love for him, because her temper will always cover it up for her! I think that she will also still have a passion for water Pokemon, and get her Togetic back. Overall, she may change a lot, but still have parts of her childhood would shine through.

May: May will probably travel on her own, or with Drew. She will care mostly about the appearance of her Pokemon, and sometimes leave out some of her Pokemon. She will keep in touch with her family and friends, because she is the kind of person who couldn't live without friends. May will keep winning contest, and will always be a little stubborn if she doesn't, but her wins and loses will help her mature.

Brock: Brock will mature a lot. He will still be attreacted to women, but most likely will settle down with another breeder (whose a girl XD) I can imagine Brock owning a breeding salon, and will be nationaly known.

Max: Max would most likely be a Pokemon Professor, studying in the fields like Professor Birch. He would be over his bratty know-it-all stage by then. Max is very smart for an 8 year old, so he will most likely be a well known professor.

Tracey: I get back to him...

Jesse: Jesse will still have James with her, and she will be the leader of her friends. Still having the anger and fiery personality. She will still think she is beutiful, and will do anything to get a promotion. I can imagine Jesse being leader of TR, but, we'll have to see on that!

James: James will still be the same, maybe mature a tiny bit, but, he's always going to be the funny James we know and love.

Heres my opinion:
Ash:He will end up almost a pokemon master but will fail.He would then give up on Pokemon Mastering and go to coordinating and be May's new Rival.But than May would beat him and he'd be a failure in contests too so he'd try to be a great researcher.So he'd tried to be Oaks assistant on researching and try to be better than Gary,Max,and Tracey.But than Gary would beat him.Then he wouldn't care about pokemon anymore but pikachu.He'd than go marry Misty and live in a house with pikachu.

Misty:Misty would quit being Ceruleans Gym leader.She would then search for ash but well she searched for Ash she found a new person she liked and went out with him.Than Misty found out she was cheating on her and dumped him.She than found Ash but he was to busy being better than everyone else.So she didn't like him anymore because he ignored her.So she went back to her old boyfriend and they went out again.Ash saw and got jeaulos and had Pikachu accidently kill him.Misty thought he was brave and liked him again and they lived happily ever after with 9 children.

May:May would become a celebrity and be hollywood famous.She'd be a legendary coordinator.She married Drew first and had 2 kids with him but divorced for secret reasons.Than she went with Brendan and had 4 kids.But then she had a secret identity and worked with the M.P.H(Make Pokemon Happy)She went and arrested her own brother Max because he was working for Team Aqua,Team Magma,and Team Rocket.After that she lived happily ever after.

Brock:He'll be a famous talk show host and talk to women all day.He also married 20 times.

Max:He would be Proffesor Oaks 2nd apprentice,being the third top researcher in the world.(Gary decided to quit research and settle down after he beat Ash)After Tracey.He was always jeoulous of Tracey,because Prof. Oak liked Tracey more than him.Tracey was a suck up to him.So than one day Tracey framed Max for trying to kill Prof. Oak and Oak fired him.Max got so depressed and angry he joined not only Team Rocket,but Team Aqua and Team Magma.He is there lead scientist for all of them.But then the groups found out he worked for the other groups and kicked him out of all of the groups..He was also on the most wanted list too,so his sister who worked for the M.P.H caught him and gave him a 5 year sentence in pokejail.

Tracey:Being evil and wicked inside,got rid of Max part of his master plan to become the greatest researcher.He needed to get rid of Max because he knew Max was doing better than him.So he framed him.Gary had left to settle down so he couldn't stop him.So all he needed to do was beat professor Oak.But he knew he didn't have the smarts to do it.So he mixed pokemon acids and put it in Oaks drink as poison.Oak was choking on the poison and he was asking Tracey to call 911 but he didn't so Oak died.Nobody believed it was Tracey so nothing happened to him.He bacame the top pokemon researcher and was very evily happy.

Jesse and James:They were now detectives.They worked on the case of Oaks death.They found out it was Tracey.They gave the evidence and Tracey was returned to justice.They had been the worlds most famous detectives.After that sice Oak died,Max and Tracey were in jail,and Gary retired,Ash became the top reasearcher since he was fifth after Oak,Tracey,Max,and Gary.

Pikachu-(I think Pikachus a girl.) Pikachu will move with May and be her pokemon because Ash was ignoring her and paying more attention to Misty.She than got a boyfriend Pikachu and had six Pichu's with him.Than May evolved both Pikachus and her boyfriend so they both became raichus and they raised there kids and gave them to other pokemon trainers as starters.

I think that Ash will get his memories returned to him that MewTwo erased and this will cause him to give up his Journey for awhile. Then, 4 or 5 years later, he has to continue it due to something.

The others will have carried on and there will be a mixing of old and new generations in the future, as Max will now be a Trainer.
