Recently got back into collecting pokemon cards. Mainly the older sets. I managed to pick up some old booster packs for a bargain. (kept a few for the future). With the booster packs came some cards the person had already had, and in the pile was a brock's Vulpix. But it has a gold W symbol to the right of the card. Does this make it more rare and what dose it mean?

    Cheers guys!

Will get a picture up shortly.

Brock's Vulpix with the Wizards of the Coast stamp was a promotional card. It's fairly uncommon, more so than the original from the gym set, but there are definitely rarer cards. If it's in mint condition and you can get it graded, it could potentially fetch for quite a lot. Sounds like a nice find :)
