Ok when the pokemon series started for ruby/sapphire, Misty was gone. What happened to her? Also when the diamond/pearl series started, May was gone...what happened to her?!

Misty went back to the Ceruleon Gym. She did appear in an episode in the advanced generation, though.

May went to particapate in Johto contests.

misty is a gym leader now and may Idk in the ship sink brock use onix to make a stair what happened to onix they just leave him there?

Brock's Onix evolved while in the care of his Dad, I think.

Ok when the pokemon series started for ruby/sapphire, Misty was gone. What happened to her? Also when the diamond/pearl series started, May was gone...what happened to her?!

Misty went to her Gym to run it because her sisters went on a round the world trip, she therfore wasn't present for the advanced episodes, she made a brief, two part cameo where her Togepi evolved and then she parted ways, She then appered at the begining of batle frontier with her new Azuril. May left at the end of Frontier, to take part in Jhoto contests and made a cameo where she took on dawn.
