Oh, I'll just post a little bit over here myself - basically they're Cascading Style Sheets. They're style sheets used in web-development to describe the kind of style any specific element of your page would possess. Or the style of the entirety of it. "style" refers to the background images, font style, font size, font color, borders, opacity and loads of other features any specific element of your page could possess. It is very powerful and you can make things look very pretty with it. PC here uses a watered down version of the actual thing and it is mostly easier to work with it over here. At least in my experience it is. :p Hope that clears things up a bit! :3
