I made this thread to see what other ppl like b/c everyone has a favorite poke and will use that poke in the game like i do. (Do not get this mixed with movesets and strategies and dont criticize on others poke's just put your favorite poke and sets ok.)

    my favorite pokemon is:
    Tyranitar

    Rock Slide
    Earthquake
    Crunch
    Focus Punch

    Mine is Dunsparce L65, girl:
    Return - normal
    Earthquake - ground
    Dig - ground
    Rollout - rock

    or

    Dragonite, L70, girl
    Surf - water
    Fly - flying
    Dragon Rage - dragon
    Ice Beam - ice

    In-game only:

    Swampert @ Leftovers
    Trait: Torrent
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Beam
    - Rock Slide
    - Surf

Mixpert. Two of the best STAB attacks in the game. At least normal damage on EVERY type, including 2x damage to 11 of the 17. Strong defensively. ONE weakness, which it has a deadly counter for. Unstoppable against all gym leaders, the "elite 4", and Steven/Wallace. Best starter in the game and one of the best Pokemon ever.

I usually go with Blaziken in game, but ONLY in game. For attacks, I go with:
    Sky Uppercut
    Blaze Kick
    Aerial Ace
    Slash

That way I get a variety of attacks that can do decent damage to most Pokemon with attacks like Slash for its high critical hit ratio.

Notice it's called the "Advance Generation" section.

    So, mine would be Gardevoir.

    Calm Mind
    Psychic
    Thunderbolt
    Ice Punch

    Sweep till kingdom come.

Aqua Tail isn't an Adv. Gen. move.

    Mine:
    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Trait: Immunity
    Curse
    Body Slam
    Rest
    Shadow Ball

Curselax. A powerhouse and physical defender at the same time, this thing packs a punch!

Aerodactyl @ King's Rock, because I couldn't find anything else to put on her. :x
    Trait: Rock Head
    Adamant Nature

    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Wing Attack
    - Double-Edge

For in-game use only. She's saved my team from being swept at least ten times.

    Flygon
    Dragon Claw
    Sandstorm
    Flamethrower
    Earthquake.

    Farfetch'd
    Item: Stick
    • Slash
    • Knock Off
    • Swords Dance
    • Sand Attack

So naturally, when Ghost and Rock types appear is when I switch out for something like Girafarig.
Also coming naturally is the extreme amount of critical-hits my enemy will encounter (slash+stick).

    My favorite is...

    Breloom! =]
    MoVeSeT
    1. spore
    2. dynamic punch
    3. giga drain
    4. snatch

i go with pokemon that you get early in the game so you can train them through the game
    mine is

    blaziken@ leftovers
    sky uppercut
    blaze kick
    aerial ace
    brave bird

    OR sometimes on r/s/e

    mightyena@ blackglasses
    roar
    sucker punch
    shadow ball
    embargo

    brave bird
    sucker punch
embargo are attacks on d/p/p not advance gen

    Metagross@Leftovers

    Psychic
    Protect
    Meteor Mash
    Shadow Ball

I use him mostly in 2 on 2 battles with tyranitar

dragonite i had one in fire red (now in pearl lvl 45 training him up) he never fails

I guess in FireRed, it's currently:

    Kadabra/Theo (Male), lv35:

Psybeam - annihilates a lot of weaker monsters!
Future Sight - Comes in handy!
Recover - Saves me from using potions!
Teleport - Saves me walking :P

    This will change!
