5th Gen What nicknames are you gonna/would you give to the pokemon we know about?

    So what would you nickname them?

    I would call:

    tsutaja: Poison Ivy
    Pokabu: Bacon
    Misumaru: Snowball 2 (Simpson refference)

    If either zorua or zoroark could learn a fire move, i would call it Firefox ;)

    Tsutaaja: Smugleaf
    Mijumaru: Wotter
    Pokabu: Boarbeque


    That is what I would nickname them
     
    I want to name my Tsutaja something royal sounding. Something like Charles or William perhaps. Maybe Elizabeth or Victoria if it's female.

    As for the other two starters, I'm not sure. I haven't really given it any thought, since I'm not choosing them.
     
    I don't really give nicknames very often, so most likely I would just leave them how they were when I got them.
     
    Tsutaaja - Snoot (because of its expression)
    Pokabu - Gu-chan (like Madoka's pig in FMWS!)
    Mijumaru - Ananda (The leader of the Otter Clan in CoAD)

    I plan on starting with Mijumaru and I don't know what I will name it but I imagine it could be Voda, Otto, or some better name that I come up with later on.

    I'll probably be naming Pokabu names like 'Pikabu' or 'Peekaboo', but I don't normally name a Pokémon until I've known its evolution line and its origins. For example, I named my Chimchar 'Napalm' because of the nape in Infernape. I might name Mijumaru 'Turquoise' or 'Cerulean' because of its colour :D

    & my fiancee already claimed pokabu as bacon long before anyone else lol
     
    The only person I've nicknamed so far is pokabu. And I'mma name him Boota after Boota from Gurren Lagann cause his name is from buta which means pig and it's said just like Boota is and Boota is a pig mole :3

    I will name the piggy-thing Toasty.

    The lizardy-thing, Gabbs.

    I will not get the otter-thing, so no name even THOUGHT about.
     
    i've decided not to use nicknames on pokemon since platinum. im just boring like that.
     
    I've nicknamed all of my Pokemon on HeartGold and SoulSilver and I didn't really like it much, as I kept all my Pokemon's names on Diamond and Platinum. I don't think I'll nickname any of my Pokemon on Black and White. XD

    I actually wasn't choosing the name for cute reasons. Imagine if that shell increases in size to large spiky shelled proportions. Conch isn't exactly the cutest name when you think about it. lol.

    *bows down* I agree. Conch is my permanent nickname now, I can't see myself naming it otherwise.

    Tsuaja's name is for sure. Pokabu's is a maybe. Really unsure about Mijumaru though...
     
    I'll name Tsutaaja after it's Japanese name, yet a corruption. Tsutjara.

    I will call Zekrom: Zekkuru (I feel like Japanese. XD)
     
    Zerxrom: Jetre.
    Tjuuja: Need evos.
    Zourak: Darkie.

    Darkie is the name of sonic dark side in a thing callED ASADAE.
