There have been a couple more, but these ones I remember because I got Glass Statues for them, which are now proudly displayed inside Arisia's Secret Base. ( Arisia is my character sprite in the Ruby version with it's almost complete {385} pokedex)

How exactly is it decided weather you get a painting or not? My Claydol beat the beauty master rank 3 times at least, and no painting for 'im. Just a couple of Luxury Balls for me. --;

To get a portrait, you have to win all four ranks consecutively, first time round. This can be a lot harder than it sounds, for certain Master contests are really difficult to win first time around. I'm not sure, but I also believe you have to win by a comfortable margin, too.
