4th Gen what should my party be?

these are my suggestions for my party:


1.empoleon {in 4 sure!!}
2.staraptor
3.floatzel
4.lucario
5.purugly
6.a fire type or 1 that can learn fire attacks

If you're looking for a serious competition team, it's all in preference. Empoleon and Lucario are great battlers, but make sure you cover their weaknesses; lots of new teams have them. In terms of Staraptor, there are better flying types to use, though Staraptor does have some good speed and attack power to it. If you can cover the ice weakness, you could go with a powerful Dragon/Flying like Dragonite or Salamence. Floatzel? Ehhh, it's worth using, but Empoleon covers Water Element. Purugly? Ew. No. Just... just no. Ew. As for Fire types, there are plenty good Fire types to choose from. Charizard, Arcanine, Blaziken, Infernape, Magmortar, etc.

Ok, ditch purugly. Its really terrible, you'd be better off with a Vespiquen or an Ambipom instead.
