2nd Gen what's a good pokemon team

In pokemon blue whats a good team? i need ideas i got a squirtle so just name a good combination ill appreciate it

Well my suggestion is Blastoise(when you evolve Squirtle), Pidgeot, Nidoking, Dugtrio, Cloyster, and Rhydon.

too many ground types. You don't want that many pokemon with there weakness to water or grass.
Try out this team: Blastoise, Nidoking or Nidoqueen, chansey, Alakazam, Magneton & Arcanine.

i would say Charizard (absolutely mint,best starter until piplup,chimchar and turtwig),poliwhirl/wrath/toed,Nidoking/queen,Primeape(faast fight type),Jolteon(no Espeon & Umbreon on blue),Lapras and Snorlax. This is just my opinion,the other starters and eeveelutions are good too.
