    Why is there no, as far as I'm aware, plans or games that involve a 3D version of pokemon like the original blue or red. This would include catchable wild pokemon (none of this shadow pokemon rubbish).

    What's going on?

    Can anyone enlighten me to why no plans have been made to make such an incredible game, or point me in the direction of the plans?

    Thanks

    Well, as far as I know there are no plans for a game such as this. I would love to see such a thing, though. It would really make the Pokemon World stretch its boundries. However, I think they leave game elements to the handheld games and special elements to the console games.

    That would be cool, but scince it started on a handheld game, its gonna end on a handheld game. Nintendo likes to stick to "tradition", thats why we have'nt heard Link or Mario actually talk in complete sentences yet-_-;

    hmm, interesting point. But surely nintendo just want to make as much money as possible. I know people who haven't played pokemon in years will pull out all the stops to buy a game like this. The profits would be huge and the game would be one of the best ever.

    It probably would, I don't know whats stopping game freak from making a game like this, they would have room for practically all the regions, all the pokemon and the luxury of not having to worry about the battery running out. But at least we have Pokemon: battle revolution to look forward to right?
