What's so good about Skarmory?(Please Move If In Wrong Section)

    I was just wondering what was so good about Skarmory? Many people use him as a Physical Wall, but there are many other Pokemon with higher defenses than he does. Is it because that Skarmory can use "Roost" and "Whirlwind" is why he is so popular? Can someone tell me why he is OU and clear this up for me? Thanks! -Happy Battling!
     
    Well, it's typing provides it with fire and electric as it's only weaknesses. It resists alot because of it's steel typing, also, because of it's flying type, it loses the fighting and ground weakness that steel normally has.

    That, and the reasons you gave. I have a pretty hard time taking one down actually.
     
    This should be in Pokemon General. o_o;

    But yeah.. what Berserk said. The Pokemon with the highest Defense stats shouldn't be the only thing you take into consideration when choosing a Physical wall.
