    Besides the name and color, I've always wondered if one of them had different pokemon then the other like Leaf Green and Fire Red
     
    Yes there is the both of them have exclusive Pokemon to it

    Pokemon Blue has: Sandshrew, sandslash, Vulpix, Ninetales, Mewoth, Persian, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victrbel, Magmar and Pinsir

    Pokemon Red has: Ekans, Arbok, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Mankey, Primeape, Growlithe, Arcanine, Scyther and Electabuzz

    Ok thanks because i was thinking about playing one of them with Visualboyadvanced and i didnt know which i wanted to play first,
