    Yeah, what the title says.

Anyways; the most absolutely unorthodox team, with none of the pokes you'd expect to be in a powerful team (i.e. garchomp, blissey, etc.), but still is an incredibly well put-together and pwnsome set?

I dunno. I don't have d/p yet (yeah, I know lol and such) but I've seen that quite a few people complain about unoriginal teams being used everywhere. So if you've seen one (hell, if you use one), feel free to share <3 the weirder the better.

This belongs better in Strategies and Movesets.

    *moves*

Ok are you saying that Garchomp and Blissey aren't used in competive battles? LOL if that's the case

Well the team I had trouble with, can't remember exactly but they had Taunt on almost all their pokemon and I was using a rain dance team at the time. The pokemon I remember being on the team where Magmorter and Sharpedo, end result was me getting 6-0'd

I would have to say...Ninjask, Aerodactyl, Garchomp, Bastiodon. Ninjask had insane speed. I could barely land a hit.

    rain dance team i think...
    Bronzong
    Ludicolo
    Kingdra
    Kabutops
    and then i got owned...

Baton Passer Mew. I knew I shoulda expected it, but it surprised me nonetheless, passing 6x SAtk and 4x Spd to a Palkia... Which proceeded to 6-0 me. In a later match, I had that Mirror Coat and Counter Smeargle pretty much everyone told me not to bother with, and Mirror Coated a Surf. He still beat me, but only 3-0 then.

Oh, and DeanoDance, if you're reading this, I should be ready for yet another rematch later this week.

Syaroan's UU team is one of the most scary things in Pokemon history. Inflict status. prevent you from making good moves, resisting nearly every attack, and then hitting you damn hard.

    hail team
all six of them were ice type, he still uses the same team and he is in the top 50 on shoddy

hail is in no way, shape or form original. It isnt as common as sandstorm but has still been done to death.

wait this goes here......shouldnt this be locked?

ill yell at the mods later about this.....

Yell at me and see what happens.

Since this is sort of a cool thread, I'll let it stick around.

lol. Anyway, the pokes you'd probably not expect in competitive, but are still powerful are teh Vileplumz and Clefable. <3

Um Itachi this is about teams as opposed to pokemon...not to mention that Venusaur does a lot of what Vileplume can slightly better, so you pretty much are forced to use Aromatherapy to make it better than Venusaur (since sunnybeaming really isn't that viable outside of ubers). Go ahead and tear my heart out sims (though I promise it isn't an attack on UUs everywhere :P)

Anyways, somebody actually used a team of UU pokemon that I had never seen before (before Smogon's main site was really up and when I was still a newbie at DP battling anyway). It was a sunny day team with this Shiftry that blew up I think it was Articuno, and oh man I got swept really badly. The team actually wasn't bad either...I'm just not used to a Bellossom sweeping me in any generation, y'know?

I've been swept by this Bibarel thing before, which I recently looked up on Smogon to find as one of those beginning-of-the-game pokemon. I think Ninjask (who you never see these days) passed it a SD or something because I guess I didn't have PHazing. I honestly don't remember too well, and I usually don't save losses unless they're really good battles =D

I also have been on the attacking end when my joke of a BP team let Life Orb Adamant Blissey seriously punish some guy who blindly let me set up. That was really funny.

I saw this one vid on XD where this one guy killed another guy by using all of the 5-eons to beef up each other and then sweeping with Metagross.

Very well, you know the risk.

You are right, Venasaur & Vileplume are dangerously similar, Vena only slightly on top. Plume has Aromatherapy & Stun Spore that Vena dosen't. Vena has Reflect/Light Screen, Leaf Storm, & EQ. Does that make Vena better? Well, not really, since Plume has Aromatherapy & Stun Spore, two very crippling moves for status hounds like Vileplume & Vena. Plus, Plume has Tickle, which is pretty useful if you ask me.

I'd say Plume is Venasaur's younger twin. They do look alike, but goes about things differently.

Also, Vena gets Leech Seed a helluva lot easier than Plume. However, sunnybeaming isn't so bad, great for late game sweeps, when, of course, Ttar &/or Hippowdon are gone. He can really sweep teams with it, and cripple all counters. I might make one. With HP ICE, since Fire is walled easier.

*But sims, what about BLissey? Wah"

Yeah, what about her? Remove all counters.

Ooka has a host of odd pokemon.

    My team

    Tauros
    Raichu
    Grumpig
    Vileplume
    Weezing
    Torterra

I like it, although I might swap out Torterra, if I feel like it.

Sorry not trying to bump this, but I'm not sure if the post went through. I hate it when the site does that.
