Hey guys. Im currently starting work on my own Pokemon Game, and I have a question. If a name is already taken by a hack may I still use it for a GAME? Also what if the game/hack is not yet released to public.(Like no demo or anything). May i use the name?

If not, then this is really hard. :/

Yes. This does not require a thread. People do not own the names of their pokemon games. You can use the name if you really want. It is just better to be individual.

Anyway, gonna close this. Moral of the story is; only Pokemon own the right to copyright their name and version names followed by the word Pokemon. So everything you see which are not official Nintendo names are yours to use if you really wish.
