When you first saw a certain pokemon...

    Did you ever think it reminded you of something. Did you assume that is was a pre evolve of another pokemon but it ended up to be a whole separate pokemon? Post what you thought here.

    I thought Mudkip was like Woopers pre-evolution at first until ruby/sapphire came out. I also thought that Gligar was Golbat's evolution before Crobat came out.
     
    I thought Raichu would be the first. Evoloution with five pokemon...

    Minun>Plusle>Pichu>Pikachu>Raichu
     
    I thought that Gligar was the evolved form of Crobat at first. XD; I remember playing the games and wondering why my stupid Crobat wouldn't evolve into a Gligar before I learned differently...XD

    As far as looks go, when I first saw Bulbasaur I thought it was some demented frog with a leaf on its back. o_O Which isn't entirely untrue, but ya know~ XD

    Anyhoo, I can't say I've ever done... Although I have thought that some of the newer Pokemon were weird looking. Like...the first 150 actually looked like certain animals...now alot of them are so out-there... I remember thinking they were weird at first...

    Wait... I do remember getting Cascoon and Silcoon confused...
    up until the anime episodes where May and Jessie wanted a Silcoon because it evolved it into a Beautifly...thats the only reason I remember. XD
     
    i used to always get the eevee evolutions mixed up when i was like,6 XD i loved eevee then!and still do!
     
    Well, in Gold/Silver, when I first caught me Entei, I used him in battle. From the way he looks when he's on you're side of the screen, he looks like a Magikarp for some reason. Now everytime I see him, I always think of a Magikarp evolving into him. Do not ask me why.
     
    Ah man I used to always thought that Luvdisc would evolve into something cool....Turns out...it didn't =____=;; For a while I thought Relicanth would evolve too XD
     
    i never thought anything like this before because i always had my pokemaster bro sittin next to me LOL

    The only way I remember the differences is by the fur stuff in Silcoon's face. :) And by the faded pink on Cascoon

    They should have made an evolution for Luvdisc. Who knows, there might be one in Pearl/Diamond.

    Wow...thats a bit of a stretch, power wise... XD
    Yet at the same time, terribly amusing..
     
    when i first saw nidoran i looked it up on a poster i had. the poster showed pokemon next to their evolutions. nidoran (m) and nidoran (f) where right next to each other and i thought that nidoran (m) would ultimatly become nidoqueen after five evolutions
     
    I thought volbeat and illumise were evolutions of one another until I saw the pokedex in my guidebook :P
     
    No, I don't think I've ever got a evolution mixed up before.
