Where WERE they sold?

So, when they first came, out, where were the various manga sold? I remember buying Pikachu Shocks Back (from Electric Tale of Pikachu) issues at Target. I loved them (and I still do), but I only got two. I would've bought more, but the things were as elusive as Robert Denby.

Well you can check Amazon,Borders and Barnes & Noble.
those are the only places I can think of and Ive seen some Pokemon manga at B&N.

I got my Pokemon Adventures 1-5 and Electric Tale 1-4 at Borders, way back in 2002ish.
In fact, I think Borders still has the best selection of Pokemon mangas today.
