what differs from pokemon fr/lg to emerald

i was wondering which game to get as i hav ruby but want the old ones back(i.e. charizard). so which has a better choise, emerald or fire red or are they the same? thanks for your help

i'm kinda new but have loved the games since red, but i'm gonna get xd but was wonderin which game features all the pokemon that are on it, i mean i got ruby, but it ain't got all my old fav's...:( so which is the best gba game for them all??? thanks

Well, none of them that features all of the pokemons, but the best one is, Emerald, but I don't know is your decicion.
