jolteon is solely for supportive purposes.
amphoros is for helping others on your team set up. it is very bulky and with reflect, it gets by its EQ weakness.
luxray is for full on attacking. it's not very good at it to be honest. Manectric does a better job at it considering it learns Flamethrower in addition.
